Who This Policy Covers
This policy applies to this website and to the counselling and admission-guidance services Guidance Hub provides through it. By submitting an enquiry you agree to the handling of your information as described here.
We collect information for one purpose: to advise you on courses and colleges and to help you apply. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone who is not part of delivering that service.
What We Collect
- Contact details you enter: name, mobile number, email address and city, and a guardian's name where you provide one
- Academic details: qualifications, marks or percentage, passing year and entrance exam results
- Preferences: the courses, locations, home state and budget range you tell us about
- Anything you write in a message, notes or enquiry field
- Basic technical information your browser sends, such as pages visited and approximate location, used to keep the site working and to understand which pages help students
Why We Collect It
- To call or message you with college and course guidance you asked for
- To shortlist colleges that match your result, budget and preferences
- To prepare and submit applications to institutions you choose
- To answer your questions and keep a record of what was advised
- To improve the site's content, by looking at which pages and forms students actually use
- To meet legal or regulatory obligations where they apply
Who We Share It With
We share your details with a college or university only when you ask us to apply there, or when you submit an application form naming it. We share what that institution needs to process your application and nothing more.
We also use service providers who host the website, store our records and send messages on our behalf. They may process your information only on our instructions, and only to provide that service.
We may disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety or property. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information to advertisers or data brokers.
How We Protect and Keep It
Enquiries are transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored in access-controlled systems. Only team members who need the information to advise you can see it. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information.
We keep enquiry records for as long as is needed to advise you and to maintain a record of that advice, and thereafter only where a legal or accounting obligation requires it.
Your Choices

- Ask us to correct anything inaccurate or incomplete
- Ask us to delete your enquiry, where no legal obligation requires us to keep it
- Withdraw your consent to being contacted, at any time

Children and Guardians
Many of our students are under 18. Where that is the case, we expect a parent or guardian to be involved in the enquiry and in any decision that follows. A parent or guardian may contact us at any time to review, correct or delete a student's information.

The site uses only the cookies and similar storage needed to make pages work and to understand aggregate usage. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may then behave differently.
